Te Tūranga - The Role :
Our Biosecurity team is working on the Biological Control of Weeds and we need your help
Duties will include :
Biocontrol agent surveys, collections, releases, and redistributions
Data collection, analysis and competition of a written report
Liaising with Landcare Research and other agencies and Regional Councils
Educating members of the public re biocontrol of weed
Ngā Pūkenga, ngā wheako - Your Skills & Experience :
Be studying or plan to commence studying towards an Ecology / Environmental Science / Natural Resource Management degree.
Hold a current driver's licence (manual vehicles).
Have sound Microsoft Office skills

Each year our summer employees play an important role by supporting our teams and completing important pieces of work around the Bay of Plenty.
You’ll be joining the Biosecurity team. We are working hard to reduce the impact of invasive pests in the Bay of Plenty region.
This role will be based in Rotorua.
