created Partnership Banking structure we have an opportunity for a Senior Partner to provide a seamless, integrated service to our clients to ensure the continued growth and development in the Bay of Plenty business area.

Based in Tauranga, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Partner to lead, inspire and develop a team of relationship managers and specialists to deliver exceptional sales and service to our BNZ Partnership clients.

This role is primarily responsible for the Bay of Plenty geography leading Commercial, Medium Enterprise, Corporate & Property Partners.

Please note, this opportunity has an October 2019 start.

In this role you will :

  • Lead a high performing team to deliver an exceptional service for customers and maximise financial outcomes.
  • Coach and develop Partners on sales and relationship management skills to achieve outstanding performance.
  • Proactively support the Managing Partner in the leadership of the centre including undertaking local business development initiatives, liaising with key clients and local community and professional bodies.
  • Proactively lead the development of profitable and sustainable new to bank relationships
  • You will ideally have a minimum of 5 years of Banking or Commercial experience and a proven track record of leading high performing teams.

    This will preferably have been gained within a customer facing, sales-oriented environment within the financial services industry.

    Your ability to lead teams through a period of change coupled with your knowledge of financial products and services will ensure your success in this role.

    We are looking for candidates with a high degree of commercial acumen, relationship-building and influencing skills.
