As an independent organisation, we partner with the four District Health Boards, ensuring that critical services and products are available to hospitals with minimum fuss and with maximum efficiency.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Liaison to join our COVID Resurgence Team.

About the role

You will be responsible for supporting the Northern Regional Health Coordination Centre (NRHCC) to ensure efficient ordering and distribution of PPE to our community healthcare customers.

This role acts as a bridge between HealthSource and the NRHCC to assist our customers to maximise service and minimise response times.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to :

  • To represent HealthSource within the NRHCC as it relates to Community Distribution of PPE
  • Mangage with customers to identify PPE needs
  • Relaying information between the NRHCC and HealthSource in a backup capacity pertinent to the Community Distribution of PPE process.
  • Identify key messages to be shared from meetings and ensure a smooth and proactive Community Distribution service by HealthSource, the DHBs and Onelink
  • Identifying and monitoring any risks relating to product supply, product substitution, product approval, urgent orders and courier delivery
  • About You

    To be successful in this role, you will possess the following skills and experience :

    Essential :

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Business / Project Management / Customer Experience / Operations
  • Experience in complex multi-site organisations
  • Basic knowledge of Procurement, Supply Chain and Finance
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel
  • Willingness and ability to be flexible and work in an environment with changing priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to work under pressure and establish priorities
  • Junior project management (strong coordination) skills
