What could your typical week look like?Reporting to the Head of Legal and Regulatory, you will be a key member of the Independence and Conflicts team supporting our business owners by providing expert advice and guidance across Deloitte’s services and operations.
Your responsibilities will include : Negotiating Deloitte’s independence rules and policies, including external regulatory rules as applicable.
Participate in the personal independence testing program for the firm.Implementing, maintaining and testing the processes and procedures for client acceptance and engagement acceptance that record the firm’s independence complianceDeliver independence and conflict training where required.
Shared management of junior team members.Enough about us, let’s talk about you : A strong operational compliance background (including compliance monitoring)Minimum of 2 years’ experience within the financial services, professional services or in a regulatory functionExcellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to work with people at all levels in the organisationAbility to maintain strict confidentialityAbility to work with technology and be proficient in Microsoft Office applicationsConfident delivering training to key stakeholdersProven staff managementAs an Independence and conflicts manager, you will be collaborative, easily adapt to change, and enjoy the challenge of working in a fast paced and ever-changing professional services firm.
