We are looking for an experienced ResourceAdvisor to join our Consenting and Compliance team, based in our new office inCuba Mall.

About the role :
Join our friendly and supportive teamwho manage consenting and compliance for land development including bulkearthworks and stormwater management, forestry, and works in coastal and riverenvironments.
We work hard to keep sediment out of our waterways, and to avoid,minimise, remedy, (and sometimes offset) effects on biodiversity and manawhenua values.
Projects on the go right now include cycleways, greenfield andregenerative housing developments, flood protection programmes, harbourdredging, and Riverlink!
You will have plenty of opportunitiesto be involved in complex consenting applications through the entire processfrom pre-application to compliance and enforcement.
We work closely with otherteams in the Environmental Regulation Department, and our Policy and Scienceteams to interpret and apply the Natural Resources Plan, the ResourceManagement Act, and national directions.
Skills and experience required :
You will be a skilledand confident RMA practitioner, and an excellent communicator who can buildenduring relationships with our customers, mana whenua partners, andcommunities.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in science, resource management orplanning.
Experience working with district or regional councils, central government, privatepractice / consulting, community, iwi or volunteer groups.
The ability to lead multiple projects efficiently, to prioritisecompeting commitments, and proactively manage customer expectations.
The ability to analyse a wide range of technical information, work withexperts and apply RMA-prescribed processes.
Pragmatism, resilience, persistence, and a focus on environmentaloutcomes.
