Your Purpose Put your gift of the gab and head for business development to good use in a unique rep opportunity! Joining our South Waikato Technical Sales team with remit for the Putaruru region, you’ll quickly embed yourself as part of our tight knit farming community.
Cementing yourself as their trusted advisor and ag product expert, you’ll partner with our current on farm customer base whilst actively hunting out new opportunities, looking to grow market share and build your brand in the region.
When you’re not out on the road, you’ll find yourself in our local Farm Source store, where you’ll build strong relationships with the store manager and wider team as you work hand in hand to deliver the best service around! What you will bring
We’re looking for people born to sell with a go-getter attitude, keen drive for results and natural ability to build lasting relationships across a variety of customers.
With that in hand, we’re open to exactly what you’ve had previous experience selling a knowledge of farming and the agricultural industry would of course be a bonus, but we’re equally happy to teach someone who’s willing to learn.
Whilst we’ve got a good share of the market, there remains plenty of opportunity to grow your base, so previous experience with business development and cold calling would certainly be helpful.
Last, but certainly not least, you will need to have a full driver’s licence as you’ll be getting out about in the beautiful Waikato daily.
