About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a customer focused Facilities Manager to join our Bob Scott Retirement Village in a full time position working Monday to Friday.
You will support the Village Manager to ensure the village is presented to the highest functioning standard in the areas of operational safety, performance and compliance.
This includes ensuring excellence in environmental health and safety, maintenance standards and sustainability performance.
As this architecturally designed facility comprises of residential care, serviced apartments and independent living including a bowling green, indoor swimming pool, library, gymnasium, beauty salon, bar and shop you can be assured your work will offer variety and challenge.
You will have proven facility management experience of a large facility including contract / relationship management, legislation, financial management and process improvement.
There is a hands-on component to this role and you will be expected to work in with the team when residents move in, during functions and events and generally have a can do attitude.
As this role will be full of competing priorities, you will be capable of concurrent problem solving and adaptable to changing work environments and workloads.
You will be decisive, outcome focused and great under pressure.
