We're looking for people who embody our Do It Right values and aren't afraid of getting stuck in.

This is an awesome opportunity if you love being amongst the community and delivering outstanding customer service to our various stakeholders.

Being part of the Venue and Events Team, you will be managing our 33 Halls across the Waikato District enhancing the needs of our community in the open spaces, events, and venue area.

Being enthusiastic about community participation, you will have a handle on procurement and Health & Safety responsibilities, understand proactive maintenance and financial plans, and have clear processes for AGMS's, targeted rates and bookings.

As each of our halls are unique and come with a rich history, you will have a sharp eye for improvement and be good at working with people to find solutions.

You will have high standards in all areas and are driven to expand community participation.

Ideally, you'll have experience engaging in the community, working with multiple stakeholders, been involved with asset management, along with an understanding of local government.

Naturally, you'll be organised and show your initiative and enjoy working with a diverse range of customers and stakeholders.

Most importantly you will be a great ambassador for WDC as you promote our services to the public.
