Work with a giant of technology :

We are looking for askilled, customer focused IT Technician based in Twizel. This is a unique opportunity to indulge your love of the great outdoors and IT career.

In this role you will be out and about providing IT support to several sites of a key Fujitsu Energy customer in the stunning McKenzie region.

Support will span multiple technology streams including, Hardware, Operating Systems Windows 7 through to Windows 10, Software, Networks, Server and Print devices.

And when the work day is done, it’s all on your doorstep. The region’s snow capped peaks, alpine rivers and lakes are host to a multitude of outdoor activities, from skiing to mountain biking, fishing, kayaking and hiking.

For this role you will need to have a hands-on desktop support / customer service engineer background with the ability to take end to end ownership of issue resolution.

A Fujitsu vehicle will be provided as part of this role so you will need to have a full, clean Driver License.

Building your own path to success :

To be successful in this role, you will have :

  • A clear and confident communication style with the ability to build and develop strong customer relationships
  • Technical knowledge of hardware and peripherals i.e. laptops, notebooks, workstations desktop PC’s, printers, media and audio visual equipment BYOD and mobility;
  • Knowledge of desktop & software applications i.e. Operating Systems (Windows 7 through 10), Microsoft Office 2007 through 365, Antivirus software and systems;
  • Understanding in Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, SCCM, End-Point Imaging;
  • Working knowledge of basic IT infrastructure and network equipment i.e. routers, switches, servers, virtualization, VPN, RSA, Citrix, VMware, Hyper-Converged Infrastructures;
  • Knowledge of the ITIL framework and previous use of an Incident Management tool
  • A relevant IT qualification / certifications
