Te Whiwhinga Mahi The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Advisor, Emergency Management & Business Continuity, to be based in our National Office Wellington.

As the Senior Advisor, you will be responsible for developing and implementing organisation-wide business continuity and emergency management programmes, policies and practices to achieve robust incident management and emergency preparedness across the organisation.

You will have practical experience in business continuity and emergency management within a large organisation or a New Zealand Government Department, along with an understanding of the Civil Defence & Emergency Management Act 2002.

Calm under pressure, with excellent communication skills and proven experience working positively and collaboratively within a team, you will be a strong relationship manager experienced with building internal and external working relationships.

As this position is responsible for maintaining and developing the existing frameworks you will need to have a high level of computer literacy (including word processing, presentations, spreadsheet and project management applications).

As the role has a national focus (Wellington-based), with active involvement in our Regional offices, you will need to be available to travel to as required.

Salary Range : $126,167 to $189,251 depending on experience.
