What we do
Join us in Ward A3 and work with the team thatprovides care for our acute general surgery patients, undergoing generalsurgical procedures within the ward environment and high dependency surgicalpatients in our 8 bed Surgical Progressive Care Unit (SPCU).
Ward A3 is also aDedicated Education Unit, therefore for staff wanting to be involved in thedevelopment of student nurses, this is an excellent opportunity.
The Role : Whereyou fit in
Working in our large multidisciplinary team you canexpect to work closely with and learn from our Surgeons, our Nurse Educator andClinical Nurse Specialist, who are all experts in their specialties and who arefocused on advances in surgical care that improve clinical outcomes.
Recentacute surgical or medical experience is essential for this position. You willhave effective problem solving and decision-making skills and a commitment toproviding and maintaining high standards of nursing practice within ourservice.
