patients, North Shore HospitalWaitemata District Health BoardWe are seeking an experienced clinician with leadership skills alongside advanced SLT knowledge and clinical practice to work alongside the Clinical Leader and Professional and Clinical Leader in supporting a small team of progressive and dedicated speech-

language therapists.We are a forward thinking, innovative team, committed to evidence based practice and promoting the translation of clinical research into practice.

We have access to instrumental swallowing assessment including cough reflex testing, videofluoroscopy (VFSS) and mobile SLT-

led flexible endoscopic evaluation of swallowing (FEES). Experience in FEES would be optimal however opportunities to develop FEES competency could be provided if required.

We offer regular professional supervision and opportunities for ongoing professional development.Qualifications : EssentialNew Zealand professional qualification in speech and language therapy, or NZSTA approval of overseas qualificationNZSTA full membershipMinimum of 5 years relevant experience including experience working with acquired communication and swallowing disordersExperience with videofluoroscopyExcellent communication, collaboration and coaching skillsAble to work efficiently with good attention to detailA strong commitment to patient and whanau centred clinical practiceA strong commitment to a rehabilitation approach to patient carePreferred : Experience in leadership and clinical supervisionExperience with FEESExperience with a range of patient populations including working with patients with head and neck cancer, tracheostomies and patients in ICU.
