We are looking for a Sales leader who can drive a multi-facet team across transforming our large client base in a Hybrid world.

HPE currently has an opening for a highly energetic Hybrid Cloud / Transformation Sales Leader - In this role you will make your mark orchestrating, empowering & motivating a Sales team focused on championing Hybrid IT & Cloud, Consumption-based services & application modernisation across New Zealand.

Your Cloud background in transformation & hybrid cloud, either public or private will enable you to be a trusted advisor to valued clients on transformations.

As Sales Leader you will :

  • Build clear strategies for working with key industry verticals & clients to pursue & close major opportunities
  • Establish professional relationships & credibility with customer IT & business executives
  • Develop key relationships with hyperscalers & other local Cloud partners
  • Maximise revenue by critically assessing deal viability, participating directly in complex sales negotiations & resolve any issues to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Manage & develop Sales team to achieve & exceed Quota. Coach individuals through managing change, selling challenges while actively managing performance & results
  • Assist sales team with building & maintaining client relationships, negotiating & closing deals. Coaching team on creative approaches to help them close new business deals
  • Develop & implement sales territory plans & forecasts to achieve sales goals
  • Understand industry drivers & the customers to bridge HPE solutions with account-relevant problems & opportunities
  • About You :

  • Sales Leader with a track record of building / managing sales teams to achieve quotas & sales goals & able to sell as a Sales leader / GM
  • Previous experience selling Cloud, Consumption Models, Services, or Digital Transformation
  • Self-starter, with the ability to manage through change & adopt new strategies
  • Skilled at building rapport, opening doors, & leveraging existing C level relationships
  • High energy with excellent presentation & written & verbal communication skills
  • Highly developed business acumen & negotiation skills
  • Ability to work effectively with extended & cross-function teams in a matrix environment
