  • Reporting directly to the Clinical Director and General Manager for our Middlemore Central, Emergency Department, and Critical Care Complex teams;
  • you will be the key communication point for the division and the organisation to ensure consistent delivery of top notch support services.

    This position is responsible for the provision of effective and efficient executive assistance, administrative coordination support to the General Manager and Clinical Director.

    As the primary point of contact, you will be a master of the calendar and events to actively manage their day to ensure it runs smoothly.

    This includes providing sound judgement and timeliness they can depend on, diary management, meeting and event management, internal and external communications and budget support.

    This is a permanent full time position, working Monday to Friday based at Middlemore Hospital.

    In some cases, you may be asked to step in to help support incident responses. You’ll also be responsible for supporting the administrative, financial and organisational tasks are completed in a timely manner and to ensure suitable responses to correspondence are made.

    Similarly, you’ll be technically savvy and comfortable using Microsoft products, information management systems or content management software.

    Essential :

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a PA or support to senior staff
  • Advanced User of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint)
  • Thorough understanding of and competence in using technology systems such used in CM Health (e.g. Oracle, Onestaff)
  • Demonstrate ability to handle sensitive information
  • Ability to prioritise time and tasks effectively
  • Acting as a trusted EA, you’ll ensure your leaders are fully briefed on issues and situations that could affect their decision-making, judgement, relationships and other matters.

    You’ll fully support them to work at their optimum, anticipating their needs before they even know it, and knowing what needs delivering.
