About the Platform :

Customer Channels Platformdeliver an amazing customer experience to Retail and Business Banking using world-class workflow management, CRM solutions, and latest tech to help take our customers through their journey, from breezy onboarding to seamlessly purchasing products like credit cards and finance.

About the role :

As a Platform Lead, you'll be at the heart of a tech strategy and be the life-force behind enabling the development and delivery of applications and services, that keep our tech environments future ready and meet our Customers' needs.

How will you do this? Well, it will be a mix of Strategy and Servant Leadership.

From a Strategy perspective, you'll understand the strategy of where the platform is going and what needs to be achieved, have the skills to turn this into a living delivery roadmap, understand and communicate why and how this needs to be delivered, aligning resources to turn this into a reality and providing your technical input all while keeping an eye on managing risks, reducing technical debt and performing controls.

You'll also be across leading and owning Platform issues, incidents, challenges and their swift resolution.

You won't be alone as you'll be surrounded by some pretty amazing people, and that's where the Servant Leadership part comes into play.

You'll motivate, lead and enable squads of engineers and collaborate with CXOs to help achieve goals through communication, coaching, influencing and paving the way for a continuous learning culture.

About you :

You started your career in a technical domain, have grown through hands-on learning, and know all about what it means to deliver through collaboration, leadership and agile ways of working.

You'll have a sound grip of taking a strategic vision, transforming it into a roadmap and inspiring, coaching, and influencing people around you to deliver and demonstrate heaps of commercial and financial acumen.

You're open to new ideas, lean into change and are comfortable navigating and enabling people. You know what it takes to get things done, so you keep an eye on workforce planning, ensuring resourcing requirements are met and work with Chapter Leads to identify and fulfil capability and resourcing needs.

You'll interact with different people daily, from engineering to product so EQ, communication, negotiation, and consensus-building skills are must-haves.

As a starter for success, we'd love some of the following skills and experience :

  • CRM Systems, like Salesforce, CRM workflow or Pega
  • Cloud experience
  • Domain knowledge of Retail Banking and / or Business Banking
