If so, read on .About the teamThe Service Delivery Finance team supports our services through the provision of proactive, relevant, timely and accurate forecasting, budgeting, analysis, costing financial and advisory services to regional and national office managers.
About the roleBased in Ellerslie at our Auckland regional office campus with 2 other Financial Analysts, you will provide management accounting services across several regions.
You will primarily support the Northland region with regular travel to Whangarei and other regions as business needs dictate.
Our Financial Analyst team provides service across multiple regions, so flexibility is required in this position as is the ability to travel outside of Auckland.
You will be the primary financial advisor for an assigned Regional Commissioner or National Manager. This is a business partnership position where you provide management accounting advice and assistance to all budget managers in the region or business unit and be an active part of that senior management team.
This role provides a real opportunity to develop a variety of management accounting skills, contribute to the success of our business and be part of a dynamic national finance team.
About YouTo be successful in this role you will have : Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience / knowledge essentialGood understanding of accounting principles and best practice in a large accounting unit (preferably in the service industry)Experience in the provision of management accounting services in a large organisation (preferably in the service industry)Experience in preparation and delivery of integrated reporting of financial and non-financial resultsProven management accounting experience and excellent reporting skillsCurrent membership with the Institute of Chartered Accountants would be considered advantageousOur ideal candidate will also possess : Strong analytical skillsEffective planning and organising abilitiesProven experience in collating information and monitoring results effectivelyAbility to influence others to achieve goals and create solutionsSound judgement and problem-solving skills able to analyse information and provide multiple solutions to negotiate the best outcomeHigh level of communication skills both written and verbalWe offerA supportive and collegial environmentProfessional development opportunitiesSalary range starting from $72,969.
