Multiple Permanent Part-Time and Casual vacancies

We are looking for a number of Lifestyle Coaches (Kaitohutohu Ahua Noho) in West and South Auckland areas. These roles support Tangata (people we support) in their own homes to achieve their goals and to live the life that they want in the manner that they want.

This will include support around independent living, budgeting, healthy living, safe practices and work support.

Are you :

  • A person who is passionate about helping Tangata to be independent and successful in the community
  • A people person, with a great sense of humour
  • Someone who enjoys building relationships, and making a positive impact
  • A person who thinks outside the box and is proactive
  • Respectful and patient, with a genuine attitude
  • Committed to working alongside and in partnership with people
  • Connected to and aware of local support networks in the community
  • You must have :

  • A clear Ministry of Justice check
  • A full driver's license (highly preferable)
  • New Zealand Citizenship or Permanent residency
  • Flexibility to work across various shifts primarily evenings and weekends
  • A commitment to a Tikanga Maori approach to your work or be willing to learn
  • Prior experience working with people in community settings, would be an added advantage. Knowledge of te Reo Maori is desirable but not essential.

    Please note that a pre-employment drug test will be conducted for the successful applicant.
