About the role
As a Business Analyst you play a critical part in succinctly interpreting and translating client needs into backlogs that assist crafting digital experiences for our clients end users.
At PK we want you to show understanding of the business area that the project is involved with, rather than create extensive documentation.
You will work alongside Producers and other members of the PaperKite team to determine how nuanced this documentation should be as well as clients and third parties to turn ideas and concepts into clear actionable tasks and stories, delivered in an incremental Agile manner, that lead to a world-class product.
You are organised, curious, client confident and disciplined by nature. You bring a collaborative focussed approach to every product you work on, and are always considering the overall needs of the end user.
You implement and guide PaperKite's requirements gathering processes, know 'what needs to be done', as well as delighting our clients with your communication style.
Other members of PaperKite see you as part of the glue that pulls our teams together. You will help inform strategies that improve our BA and Agile practice and that leads to improved processes for PaperKite and our clients.
Some of your key accountabilities will include :
Understand and interpret a clients needs / project scope, break these down, and translate into meaningful, workable and realistic backlogs that are agreed to by the client
Coaches other team members on analysis techniques, and helps the team and product owner understand and describe the business domain and problem to be solved
Support the Agile / Scrum production process as an Agile advocate, and enable cross-functional team members to learn from you how best to work collaboratively
Able to provide and communicate creative and / or technical guidance and direction, in close collaboration with our experience, strategy and technical teams
Work collaboratively, guiding cross-functional teams through clear communication, and finding new ways to streamline internal processes, and asking strong questions to help the team see areas that may lead to problems
Product research and assistance on creative and technical Discovery projects
Own the processes and systems for the use of Jira / Confluence
