We are looking for a Team Leader to join our busy Walter Nash Centre, to lead a team of Kaitiaki (Hosts who provide care and service to our customers).

In this role you will lead by example and inspire the team to deliver quality services, which exceeds customer expectations.

As well as having a strong customer focus, you will work collaboratively with other internal staff and also neighbourhoods & community groups to ensure core services and initiatives are promoted and supported.

Key elements of this role :

  • Developing staff rosters and coordination of staff
  • Inducting of staff and staff performance management
  • Overseeing the day to day customer service operations ensuring quality service levels are maintained and consistent
  • Assist with booking requests and events
  • Ensure protocols and procedures are being followed and reporting
  • Complaint and enquiry management
  • To be successful, you will need to demonstrate developed leadership and communication skills. You won't mind "jumping in" to help with any tasks as needed and will be a role model to your team by displaying our core values in everything you do.

It is essential that you will have experience in a people leadership role and staff roster development, be physically fit and able to adapt to changing situations.

If you have an active interest in the community and its people, and have a desire to help make positive change, you will be a perfect fit for this role.

This is your opportunity to be connected to your community.

There's never been a better time to be a part of the team. If this is the opportunity you've been waiting for, we'd love to hear from you.
