We are seeking an experienced marketing and communications professional to join our team working across New Zealand’s leading brands in their category and to deliver the full range of strategic operational marketing and communications support.

The successful candidate will be instrumental with planning and implementation of marketing, communications and brand strategies.

The mix of marketing and communications responsibilities offers this candidate the opportunity to be involved in all disciplines including marketing campaigns, media liaison, event activation, web and social media and stakeholder relations.

You’ll be highly focused, results driven and creatively led.

Key responsibilities in this role include :

  • Create, plan and communicate cross-platform initiatives to drive audience growth and market share performance across Bauer Media’s lifestyle and current affairs portfolio
  • Provide strategic PR planning and implementation
  • Event management activation
  • Develop and maintain marketing costs
  • Engage and develop effective relationships both internally and externally
  • You will bring :

  • Experience within a media / publicity environment
  • Strong brand and audience analysis skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • The ability to manage change solutions and action best outcomes for the business
  • High energy, strong ability to be proactive and reactive and to think outside the box
