We are seeking a Programme Director to lead and coordinate delivery of some key end to end capital programme portfolios.
The role is accountable for the timely, cost effective and coordinated delivery and operationalisation of Auckland's Transport key capital programme portfolios ensuring delivery is coordinated with one team leadership, key stakeholder partnerships, community engagement and advocacy.
Key Tasks and responsibilities include :
Provide programme implementation and operationalisation leadership across AT for the delivery of the ATs key capital strategic
Oversee and establish as required cross-AT programme teams using an agile approach, creating virtual teams utilising programme and project management resource and specialist resource from across AT functions and external
Cross programme coordination of key resourcing and procurement activities.
Lead initiatives to develop organisational knowledge and maturity in programme leadership and management
In conjunction with the Project Management Office (PMO), provide full reporting metrics on programmes of work and ensure compliance with AT's enterprise Portfolio, Programme and Project Management Framework (ePMF), including the gateway sign-off
What are we looking for?
Expertise and experience in portfolio delivery and enterprise programme
Leadership experience in cross business programme implementation of capital works.
A strong focus on safety and well-being working across internal teams and suppliers.
Proven track record in managing, leading and motivating cross-functional teams under a common vision and purpose.
Demonstrated capability in fostering strong relationships and the ability to partner well both internally and externally.
A strong focus on safety and well-being work alongside internal teams and suppliers.
A good understanding and appreciation of the workings and functions of local government, including current and future business drivers and statutory
Association for Public Participation Certificate in Public Participation (desirable).
