You will provide onsite and remote support for standard hardware, software and operating systems used in office and warehouse via phone and desktop support.

You will be involve in IT problem solving and data analysis, answering questions or resolving problems for the use of computer hardware and software.

You will be a contributor on project teams for departmental tasks and off-site special projects. There may be times in this role that will see you providing 24 / 7 on-call support.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide application support of the day-to-day use of Brightstar’s standard desktop applications (MS-Office suite) and other applications used to support business operations.
  • Install, configure and maintain handheld mobile devices; barcode scanners and related infrastructure, smartphones, and tablets.
  • Assist with Server, Network, Backup, UPS, and IP Phone device troubleshooting; Moves, Adds, Changes
  • Proactively identify inefficient procedures, processes or systems, propose and implement improvements, including creating / maintaining procedures and processes.
  • Provide support, advice or training to users about the application and systems’ functionality. Investigate and resolve problems that users report.
  • Escalate identified faults or required site specific modifications to senior IT staff for review.

  • Manage Moves, Adds and Changes of IT related equipment.
  • Manage hardware and software procurement and asset tracking, including asset auditing.
  • Develop and maintain up to date training material and procedures, to assist you to facilitate training for all users in relation to Brightstar hardware or software.
  • Tertiary Qualification in IT or Information Systems, or related discipline
  • ITIL Foundations Certificate
  • 3- 5 years of experience in a similar role in a warehouse, FMGC or supply chain environment is desirable.
  • Experience with Microsoft operating systems (Win 10, Win7, XP, Server (Desirable)) and products ()
  • Familiar with IT Infrastructure (’s, laptops, printers, barcode scanners, peripherals, LAN, servers)
  • Experience with desktop Standard Operating Environment (SOE), imaging, new user provisioning
  • Experience troubleshooting issues on multiple computer platforms : Windows, OSX, iOS and mobile devices.
