Marlborough District Council (a unitary authority) is seeking an experienced Functions Coordinator to organise civil events and provide support to the Executive Leadership Team.
You will be somebody who can anticipate needs, approach challenges with an open mind set and be able to liaise at all levels, with a broad range of key stakeholders.
The ability to juggle the competing demands of organising functions, the Executive Team, and at times be the support person for the Mayor and Chief Executive and Democratic Services Team is a must.
About the role
This is a challenging role which interacts with a broad range of people and organisations so excellent communication, prioritisation and organisation skills are essential.
Some functions are out of hours so flexibility is required. Minute taking experience, or a willingness to learn this skill, would also be an advantage.
This role is a part time role (20 hours per week).
