Job Description : South Auckland Based structural steel fabricator requires an intermediate level Quantity Surveyor.
Duties
Reporting to managing director and commercial manager.
Liaising with estimators at time of receiving information on awarded contract / s.
Liaising with subcontractors and monitoring outgoings on subcontract activities.
Securing of subcontract resources to carry out works related to the contract / s.
Overseeing of contract agreement.
Setting of the budget for contracts.
Cost engineering.
Preparation of monthly progress claims on contract work.
Contract variation pricing.
Contract variation claims.
Negotiation on final contract account in conjunction with the commercial manager.
Monthly project financial reporting.
