used.As a key member of the Infrastructure Projects Leadership team the Commercial Manager is responsible for the contractual, financial and risk management within the business with a strong focus on identifying and securing work and ensuring it is managed in line with the targeted profitability.
As Commercial Manager you will be responsible for developing commercial awareness through training, workshops and mentoring, ensuring sound financial and business practices are applied to all operations, and promoting consistency and accuracy with regard to forecasting, cash follow and predictability of project outcomes.
What you’ll bring : A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent, e.g. BSc, RICS, NZCQS or equivalentAt least 5 to 10 years’ experience in a commercial role preferably with contractors in predominantly civil infrastructure projectsIt is essential to have experience of providing management support in the construction or infrastructure sectorsProven experience of business development in a commercial environment.
