The role :
Wehave a Communication and Engagement Advisor position available in our awesomeCommunication and Engagement Unit.
Thiscrucial role will inform and engage our people on the awesome work our Community and Major Events groups deliver for Hamiltonians.
From parks to playgrounds, pools and publicspaces like our libraries this is your chance to support these services andfacilities by helping to connect them with our community.
Asa member of our dynamic team, you could be developing communication andengagement plans, preparing marketing collateral, writing copy or directing avideo.
We’relooking for an expert communicator who is passionate about making Hamilton amore attractive and liveable city.
You’rea team-player who enjoys working on multiple projects at once, jugglingdeadlines and can change hats swiftly. You’re organised and planned, but acurve ball doesn’t faze you.
Youthink and write creatively and will always consider our diverse work force inpreparing your communication and engagement strategies.
You understand the needto personalise and target messaging and continually look for new ways to reachour people.
You’retech-savvy and can pick up new tools quickly. Equally, you love to get out andabout and meet our team members in person.

The requirements :
Tertiaryqualification in a relevant field.
Minimumfour years’ experience in a communication role.
