About the Role

Joinus in Ward A3 and work with the team that provides care for our acute generalsurgery patients, undergoing general surgical procedures within the wardenvironment and high dependency surgical patients in our 8 bed SurgicalProgressive Care Unit (SPCU).

Ward A3 is also a Dedicated Education Unit,therefore for staff wanting to be involved in the development of studentnurses, this is an excellent opportunity.

Working in our large multidisciplinary team you can expect to workclosely with and learn from our Surgeons, our Nurse Educator and Clinical NurseSpecialist, who are all experts in their specialties and who are focused onadvances in surgical care that improve clinical outcomes.

Recent acute surgical or medical experience preferred but notessential. You will have effective problem solving and decision-making skillsand a commitment to providing and maintaining high standards of nursingpractice within our service.
