This role is responsible for successfully delivering a new Point of Sale and customer management system across a NZ franchise business.
Initially, this is a 9-12 fixed-term contract.
The project is focused on both managing the software development through to implementation and change management across the organisation to ensure the software is adopted successfully.
Success will be determined by project delivery and key stakeholder engagement metrics. The aim of the project is to have the software operating successfully throughout the franchise network with 100% adoption of the new system.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities :
Development and ownership of the project plan from development to go live using sound project methodology
Ensure software meets business requirements
Hire a developer to support the project
Lead the project team to success, managing project progress and keeping stakeholders updated
Lead the change management component of a major technological and business change
Deliver project within timeframes, scope and budget
Build and maintain strong connections across the business
Document and define business requirements and key business processes
Perform risk management to minimize project risks

Project management skills and familiar with agile discipline with a focus on outcomes
Understand a variety of analytics to identify trends and opportunities
Ability to use good judgement and commercial nous that leads to identify and prioritise opportunities

Superior computer literacy, Excel, Word and Microsoft Projects experience

Strong Project Management skills with proven 5 + years of delivering successful projects
