  • The Role :

    We are looking for an enthusiastic Cook to work at our Tegal site in New Plymouth . Hours of work are Full Time working predominately Monday to Friday however occasional Saturday work will be required.

    What will you be doing?

    In this position you will be responsible for cooking meals (breakfast and lunch) cabinet food, functions as well as serving of food.

    You will also be assisting with the general kitchen and cleaning duties. You will be computer literate and have knowledge of POS and eftpos.

    Our Perfect Candidate?

  • Will be hard working, with a friendly outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude.
  • Will know their way around a kitchen and must have proven cooking skills.
  • Will have experience working in the food industry and ideally hold food safety certificates (Unit Standard 167 & 168) or be happy to train for one.
  • Will have excellent time management and be able to work well under pressure.
  • will have exceptional customer service and be able to operate a till and eftpos.
  • Most importantly will demonstrate a passion for great food, customer service and quality.
