Our Christchurch office is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager for Three Waters Engineering projects to become an integral member of our New Zealand water business.

We are looking for a Project Manager to deliver a wide range of three waters and civil infrastructure projects. In this role, you will provide proactive management of the project team, support the local team with project management activities, and develop trusted relationships with our clients by delivering projects successfully.

This will include assistance with bid preparation, project tracking and reporting (including financial), and direct project management.

You will be valued for your use of initiative, ability to pre-empt and problem solve, along with a robust understanding of Project Management principles, and thrive working within a Project Management framework.

To be successful, you will have :

Relevant tertiary qualifications (BE Civil or related)

10 years+ experience managing projects

A project management qualification (Prince 2 or PMI) or equivalent practical experience

Experience of both providing technical recommendations for bids as well as writing and crafting proposals for projects

Strong interpersonal skills and proactive problem-solving ability

Strong communication skills

Flexibility in your approach to challenges

Strong motivation to help deliver project solutions to our clients

Commercial acumen

Ability to work with and manage virtual teams

Technical experience in the field three waters and civil engineering

Understanding of project governance structures and risk management
