Equipment Dealer Account Manager

We are currently looking for an experienced Equipment Dealer Account Manager to join our Equipment Sales team based in Christchurch.
Primary Role :
You will be responsible for managing existing dealer relationships, identifying and securing new relationships with the ultimate aim of increasing retail finance and stock funding opportunities for UDC.
This role covers the South Island and requires regular travel throughout the territory to maintain and grow dealer relationships.
You will be accountable for working with both dealers and end user customers to assist UDC credit and compliance requirements for individual retail loans.
Completing credit reviews for dealers with stock funding is also a requirement of the role.
Your experience :
Proven sales experience with strong relationship and stakeholder management ability.
Experience in an industry aligned to the agricultural sector or construction equipment would be advantageous.
Strong relationship management experience and influencing skills, networking and negotiation skills previously demonstrated in winning new customers.
Highly motivated and capable of working independently and autonomously, demonstrating problem solving techniques.
Understanding of financial statements and credit assessment would be advantageous.
