An exciting opportunity has arisen within Ward M5 - Haematology and Oncology at Waikato Hospital for an experienced nurse wishing to advance their career into a leadership role.
Ward M5 is a 30 bed, inpatient ward at Waikato hospital, that provides treatment and supportive cares to patients with a cancer diagnosis or blood disorder.
There are three inpatient sub specialities within M5, including haematology, medical oncology and radiation oncology.
The Associate Charge Nurse Manager (ACNM) will work in close collaboration with the Charge Nurse Manager (CNM) to manage and provide leadership support, you will have an eye for detail and an interest in bed flow.
You will be adaptable, approachable and be a team player. The successful candidate will provide continued clinical support and expertise to enable an effective practice environment.
You will have delegated ongoing responsibilities from the CNM and provide direct care as required as well as clinical leadership.
