Job Description
We have a unique opportunity for a Project Manager to lead and drive our high performing team based in Tauranga. This is a key role for our region, as you will manage and lead project delivery of the Construction projects ensuring the profitable, compliant and efficient delivery of the works.
This role offers diversity, challenge, and an ability to make your mark. You will have a strong focus on people leadership and development, managing key stakeholder relationships, and have operational and financial accountability.
You will be responsible for :
Set project estimates for resource use and cost, manage the project to meet or exceed margins / profit.
Ensure jobs are carried out to job specifications, company policies and relevant legislation, codes and regulations.
Maintain customer / client relationships and find innovative ways to add value to our customers and meet expectations
Subcontractor and Supplier Management
Prepare a specific programme to achieve the construction dates and milestones
Lead and champion Fulton Hogan best practices, work procedures, health and safety, environment and quality procedures, customer relationship management on all projects
Ensure Fulton Hogan procedures for supplier and subcontractor management are followed and all paperwork is completed for set up
Manage key stakeholder engagement
Manage and develop internal capability
Minimum 5 years relevant construction experience (including job and project management)
Holds relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent practical experience
Competent users of Word, Excel and Project
Understanding of job pricing including materials, labour and plant and associated margin / profit calculations
Familiar with NZS 3910, Construction Contracts Act, NEC Contracts, Working towards CCS training as Project Management tool
