The Role

Tosupport the rapid growth of our business, we are seeking a Culture andEngagement Manager with a passion for delivering a world class employeeexperience.

Reporting to the Chief of People, you will lead efforts to developand direct a cohesive, high quality internal communication strategy that drivesemployee engagement and fosters meaningful connection.

You will be a championof our brand, delivering robust communications strategies, programs, andmaterials that align with the Seequent vision.

This is a full-time, permanentrole based in our Christchurch office.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to :

  • Define, implement, and drive a comprehensive internal communication strategy that fosters employee engagement and meaningful connection to the company's vision and values
  • Collaborate with Seequent subject-matter experts to ensure communications align with overall organisational strategies and goals
  • Plan, edit and write content for a variety of internal communications mediums, ensuring consistency with external communications
  • Develop proven methodologies and procedures to guide consistent and quality communications across all teams, divisions, and regions
  • Analyse the effectiveness of internal communication programs and develop recommendations to continually improve the quality and effectiveness of employee communications
  • Develop a robust executive, management, and organisational communication practice to support senior-level executives and leaders, including a regular cadence of communication from the CEO
  • Actively promote and assist HR in supporting external recruitment and internal retention strategies
  • Define and report on appropriate success metrics for the impact of internal communications
  • In order to be successful in this role, you should have :

  • Extensive experience leading internal communications and employee engagement
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence building relationships across a large, multi-functional team
  • A high level of initiative with the ability to propose creative and entrepreneurial strategies to advance company goals and objectives
  • Project management, planning, tracking, and reporting experience
  • Sound business acumen and well-developed assessment, judgment, and critical thinking abilities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to convey your ideas to varying audiences
  • Innovative, open, and able to work in a fast growing, fast paced and constantly changing environment
  • Experience in delivering change management communications
  • Capability using Adobe Creative Suite, with an exposure to graphic design and video editing a plus
