Community Oral Health Service

We have ideal positions for new graduates (full time) andfor experienced clinicians (0.6-1.0 FTE) i.e. 64-80 hours a fortnight.

Join one of our supportive Hub teams in the Nelson / Marlborough region and we'reconfident you'll quickly feel at home in our beautiful sunny region.

If you area new / recent graduate or an experienced practitioner you will be supported byyour own assigned Professional Advisor as you transition into our workforce -we have a tailored orientation programme just for you!

Ngā mōhiohio epā ana ki tēnei mahi (About this position)

You will work as part of a team providing dental services tosome of the 23,000 children across the region who are enrolled from birth.

Staffwill tell you how much they love the relationships formed over the years withchildren and their families / whanau.

Practice your full scope in well-equipped computerisedfacilities using Titanium with digital radiography. We employ a 1 : 1 ratio ofdental assistants to therapists in most instances and have a skilled receptionteam to support you.

Our COHS is committed to prevention; sealing all permanentmolars and utilising dental assistants to apply fluoride varnish betweenexamination appointments.

We encourage the use of Hall Crowns and provide alltherapists with the full range of restorative options; including rubber damwhen required.

We value what new team members bring to our team and understandthe challenges of relocating. That s why we offer you up to $5,000 forreasonable relocation associated expenses.
