We are looking for passionate Registered Nurse with Paediatric Experience, and minimum of 2 years’ experience in Hospital Setting for the ADHB Nursing and Midwifery Bureau.
You must be registered in New Zealand with a current Annual Practising Certificate from the Nursing Council of New ZealandThe Bureau employs over 400 casual staff consisting of registered nurses, midwives, healthcare assistants and mental health assistants.
Casual staff are utilised across ADHB to cover planned and unplanned leave. They provide support where the acuity is high, expertise when needed or cover in areas where recruitment needs have yet to be met.
You will work throughout Starship being allocated to areas of high need and to perform roving tasks. Based in central Auckland, Starship Child Health is a dedicated paediatric healthcare service and major teaching centre in Auckland, New Zealand.
We provide family centred care to children and young people throughout New Zealand and the South Pacific. We seek to lead New Zealand in paediatric service delivery, in the provision of pre and post-
graduate nursing education, and through the building of our reputation as a national centre of excellence in paediatrics.
The shifts will be casual working Monday to Sunday on an as and when required’ basis, so there are no guaranteed hours If you are currently working full-
time (40 hours), you will need to reduce your hours before we can consider you and be able to provide proof of this. Our preferred candidates will be currently working 0.
8 FTE / 32 hours per week or less so that you can at least commit to one shift per week. The hourly rate for this position range from $23.
71 to $34.15 depending on your number of years’ experience plus 8% holiday pay, as per our collective agreement. Click here for copy of the position description.
