What you can expect to be doing in the role
Complex diary and email management
Understand the MD role requirements and be able to exercise judgement, call, prioritising meetings and emails and enabling the MD to be more effective in their role
Co-ordinate, organise and execute requirements for various leadership, Board and Committee meetings including coordinating agenda, minutes and actions
Ensure that external commitments are planned and managed
Prepare and draft correspondence including emails, reports and documents
Provide event support and coordination
Work with other EAs to ensure continuity of support
Manage confidentiality and privacy of information that you have access to
Be able to negotiate and influence where required
Be innovative and creative in thinking through a range of issues and problems
Be able to multi-task, prioritise and react to issues that arise during the day whilst keeping calm and professional in demanding situations.
Board Secretary component of the role;
Runs the board programme
Works with Company Secretary, Chair and MD to set agenda
Attends Board Meetings and drafts minutes for review by Company Secretary
Collect and publish papers on Diligent / Stella
Manage meeting invites (including for Group Leadership Team and visitors)
Manage logistics including for travelling meetings.
Displaying resilience, comfort operating in ambiguity and high levels of initiative, drive and collaboration is a must. This role requires you to demonstrate broad thinking across multiple business disciplines to support whole of business direction and needs.

Experience in supporting Board and Committee meetings
Proficient in using governance software
Proficient with extracting data from Deltek and presenting in a useful way
