An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Registered Nurse to join the Occupational Health team, who are committed to a safe and healthy workplace for all workers.

The successful candidate will join the team of Speciality Clinical Nurses across Bay of Plenty District Health Board (BOPDHB) providing specialised education, advice and support using evidence-based knowledge, and skills to enable workers to manage their health to achieve optimal health outcomes appropriate to the workplace.

The role is based in Whakatāne, with an expectation to work across the DHB as required as part of a team approach to Occupational Health for the organisation.

Supported by the experienced team, this could be an opportunity for a suitable candidate who has an interest in a safe and healthy workplace, to develop their skills in the field of Occupational Health.

The successful candidate will be a Registered Nurse with varied clinical experience. As this is a Designated Senior Nurse role evidence of relevant post graduate education and PDRP is preferred and / or commitment to achieve.

This is a 0.5 FTE, part-time role, working 40 hours per fortnight. Additional Registered Nurse FTE to create a larger FTE can be discussed with candidates.
