Due to network growth we have a newly created position ? join us in our Reliability Manager position. This is a rarely seen opportunity in the Electricity Distribution industry.

As the Reliability Manager you?ll lead asset reliability and performance within the Network team, monitor the performance of network assets and inform optimum maintenance and asset replacements to achieve greater asset reliability.

Additionally, you?ll refine Counties Power?s strategic guidance documents through to tactical implementation and continual improvement of our systems and processes.

Reporting to the GM Network, you?ll ensure financial and progress reporting and forecasting is provided, monitor service level targets for network uptime and advise corrective plans, track and manage network reactive maintenance and preventative vegetation management budgets, prepare incident reports and ensure voltage complaints and power quality issues are investigated.

In conjunction with the wider Network team, you?ll develop strategies and implement programmes of work to improve operational performance through the deployment of fault indicators, automation and remote-controlled devices, and investigate new technology to improve detection and response times.

This is a wide ranging role and you will fit right in with a great sense of humour, proactive thinking and enjoy getting ?stuck in?.

To be successful in this position you will :

  • Hold a relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering or similar,
  • Have 5+ years? experience in utility infrastructure industry in Asset and / or Network Performance Management positions,
  • Have proven, extensive technical electricity (transmission or distribution) knowledge,
  • Have demonstrated experience and high level capability of conducting data analysis and interpretation,
  • Have experience in implementing and knowledge of maintenance planning and strategies,
  • Have an uncompromised commitment to health and safety,
  • Have strong, clear written and verbal communication skills,
  • Calm and professional temperament with the ability to cope in pressured environments.
