We are now on the hunt for a Service Desk Team leader to provide leadership and mentoring to the Service Desk Team and drive a culture of continual process improvement within our organisation.

Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, this role will see you take ownership of all service desk management activity ensuring the Service Desk team deliver operational excellence across our all business work streams.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead and develop our Service Desk teamProvide recommendation and reporting on call volumes and incident trendsParticipate in providing direct support to all stakeholders to ensure service KPI performance targets are metManage and coordinate the processing of incoming calls and ticketsManage and participate in on-call roster to ensure continuous coverage for after-hours support of critical systemsWhat we are afterTertiary qualification in Information Technology or equivalent5+ years' experience in Service Desk / Technology Support or related field in a corporate and / or operational environmentAbility to lead and create a collaborative team environmentCertification in ITIL Foundation (preferred)Excellent knowledge of computer hardware & software, mobile devices and network capabilitiesStrong and extensive knowledge in Microsoft Windows, Office 365, Exchange & basic network terminology and functionsOutstanding communication skills both written and verbalExcellent attention to detail and accuracy fostering a systematic approach to problem solvingCommercially astute with the ability to make bold decisions / recommendationsWhat we offerA leadership opportunity to enhance your careerAn opportunity to showcase your skills and expertise and initiate changeDiverse & inclusive culture that fosters work-life balanceStaff buying rates across all productsAbout usWe sell so much more than pens and paper!
