    The opportunity

    Tauranga is the largest city in the Bay of Plenty and one of the fastest-growing population centres in the country. With a booming local economy, the region is popular with families, holidaymakers and retirees.

    Over 200 people from 10 different engineering disciplines work out of our Tauranga office, which has a depth of knowledge and exciting office culture that enables our people to play a huge role in the day to day life of people in the Bay.

    To support our growth within the region and our significant project wins we are looking for an Engineer’s Representative to join our team.

    This is a role where everyday will be different but overall, you will be responsible for :

  • Building collaborative working relationships with our clients and contractors
  • Contract administration including Measure and Value, and Design-Construct contracts
  • On-site construction observation and inspections
  • Documenting on-site inspections and quality assurance monitoring
  • Review of quality records and compliance with Contract requirements
  • Working with the contractor responding to their queries, processing claims including updating client financial systems
  • Working closely with the design teams and design amendment coordination
  • About you

    You love to learn and share knowledge, and someone who can bring a fresh perspective to ensure the development of the people around you.

    You constantly seek better practice for the overall quality of our work and our client experience. You are a Chartered Civil Engineer with Engineers Representative experience and ideally, hold a current Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency Engineers Representative Accreditation or be working towards this accreditation.

    Your strong track record of delivering civil projects, experience in dealing with local authorities, commercial developments and utility providers.
