    Who You Are

    You have a PhD (or equivalent) in Accounting or an Accounting-associated field and a trajectory to build an international scholarly reputation in at least one principal research area of Accounting.

    Your publication record contains examples of high impact work. Candidates should be able to demonstrate very good written and oral communication skills.

    Successful candidates for the position of lecturer should have the potential to publish in high-quality, internationally recognized academic journals.

  • Candidates for the position of senior lecturer should have a proven record of publications in such journals. All candidates should have outstanding teaching skills and a commitment to quality teaching delivery;
  • and be able and willing to contribute to Department, wider University, and professional service activities.

  • The role involves actively contributing to the research profile of the Department of Accounting and Information Systems through the pursuit of a programme of impactful research;

  • engaging with external stakeholders; and contributing to departmental and university service.
