    About the role He korero whakamarama mo tenei turanga

    Healthcare NZ has recently undergone significant structural change, as such, the new Service Centre team based in Auckland requires additional assistance with a Wellington based team for the next six months.

    There are multiple full and part-time positions available.

    Joining the Service Centre team, you will play a significant part enabling the wider organisation to deliver excellent, locally based clinical and disability care to people in the community.

    You will place the customer at the heart of everything that you do; exceeding their expectations and ensuring that they are delighted with the service they receive.

    The Service Centre operates 7 days per week, these positions cover a roster with 5 days on / 2 days off, with hours of work to fall between 6am - 10pm Monday - Sunday.

    You will be responsible for :

  • Handling both inbound and outbound calls
  • Providing a first-call resolution help-desk service for clients and potential clients, family and Whanau, Support Workers, duty managers, funders, and other stakeholders
  • Actively managing short-term roster changes and vacancies to ensure the customer's needs are met, and service plan requirements are fulfilled in a timely and responsive manner
  • Coordinating cover for unplanned relief requirements

  • Proven experience delivering customer service excellence
  • Confidence in using technology / computer literacy
  • Exceptional communication and rapport building skills over the phone
  • An innovative approach when finding solutions
  • A positive, adaptable & resilient attitude - must work well under pressure in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment
  • No healthcare industry experience is required. Previous experience working in a call center environment would be advantageous, however, we are open to those who have proven customer service excellence developed from other industries, such as hospitality, retail, travel etc.
