The Auckland RegionalForensic Psychiatry Service , or the Mason Clinic as it isoften known, is the largest Forensic Mental Health Service in New Zealand.
Weserve the four Northern District Health Boards including all courts in thenorthern region and four prisons.
We deliver a comprehensive rangeof Forensic Mental Health Services, including secure inpatient acute andrehabilitation services which connect to community rehabilitation services,services for offenders with an intellectual disability, culture specificprogrammes for Maori, court liaison and prison mental health services.
This includes a regional service to Northland Region Corrections Facility atNgawha and Northland.
The Regional ForensicPrison Team employs experienced mental health nurses to work in the Aucklandand Regional prisons, alongside our psychiatrists, social workers, culturalworkers and clinical psychologists.

Anopportunity has arisen for an experienced , NZROT qualified Occupational Therapist to workwithin an integrated multidisciplinary team, providing specialist occupationaltherapy assessments, interventions and enhancing the wellbeing of those who useour service.
This is a full time position within our prison team. This would bean excellent opportunity for professional development and to experience aunique working environment.
Youwill need to be flexible and possess strong clinical, interpersonal andrelationship skills.
