Sell a range of medical equipment products and services by using specialised knowledge. This role will be responsible and accountable for business growth within the defined territory by maximising sales of Smith & Nephew reconstruction products and brands through regular contact with the target custom base.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSPerform the following administrative functions on behalf of the Company and in doing so represent the Company in compliance with the Code of Conduct and Business Principles and the employment agreement.
Develop and plan sales budget and strategy in conjunction with line managerEnsure the execution and reporting of sales and marketing activities in territoryDevelop and maintain strong customer advocates for Smith & Nephew Sports Medicine portfolios in the assigned territoryInfluence, coach and support the clinical support members in providing exceptional case support and trainingEnsure the appropriate execution of the shared calendar, territory management plans, consignment agreements, tenders / pricing requests, special pricing and customer profiles / preferencesEducationTertiary qualifications in Science or Business related disciplinesExperienceProven success track record in Sports Medicine / Orthopaedics sales and / or clinical supportExperienced device reps with a competitive sporting background will be highly regardedTechnical Knowledge & CompetenciesStrong selling skills with a drive for resultsStrong understanding of Sports Medicine products and industry, desirableGood understanding of the New Zealand public and private healthcare systemComputer proficiency in MS OfficeAbility to interpret financial and clinical dataStrong commercial acumenHighly focused on exceeding customer expectationsExceptional interpersonal skills with ability to establish and foster long-term relationships with internal and external customers.
