  • The Role

    A brand new Dental Assistant opportunity is now available at St. Albans Dental. This is an empathetic team that takes time to care and have patients that travel far and wide for their treatments.

    At St Albans Dental Centre we currently have six dentists and three oral health therapists working in our practice. We offer all aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry.

    We place a great importance on producing high quality work and also have an emphasis on prevention as we feel it is in the patients' best interest in the long run.

    Oral Surgery (wisdom tooth removal) is also one of our strengths.

    As a Dental Assistant, yours is a busy and rewarding role. You'll be working alongside our experienced Clinicians, ensuring they have the right tools at the right time and assist them to ensure that their day runs smoothly and the patient experience is second to none.

    Some of the procedures you may be involved in include implants, crowns, veneers, root canals, and cosmetic dentistry. You will also be responsible for sterilisation and infection control.

  • The Person

    To be successful in this role, you will bring :

  • Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or Sterilisation Nurse would be ideal.
  • A positive and team orientated approach to all you do.
  • Proven experience in customer facing roles.
  • Flexibility to help out the team.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
  • If you do not have any previous experience but are looking at starting a career in the dental industry, we will be willing to train the right candidate.
