Digital Marketing Specialist
Exciting Permanent Full-time position to be based in NZ, Upper Hutt or NZ, Palmerston North

The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for leading the digital transformation of the business through development and execution of the digital marketing strategy across all digital channels including website, social, email and paid media.
This role will champion the customer experience and collaborate with the Marketing, Sales, IT, Technical and Regulatory teams to develop and execute digital marketing plans that support the business and brand plans.
You will work across an exciting and rapidly expanding business combining our company’s Health and Allflex Livestock Intelligence, which includes bio-pharmaceutical, animal identification, animal monitoring and milking intelligence within the portfolio.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include, however not limited to :
Lead the development of the digital strategy for the business that aligns with the brand and business plans
Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing programs across all digital channels including website, SEO, SEM, email, social media, influencer and paid digital advertising campaigns.
Lead the review and management of the business’s websites to improve user experience
Lead in the development of the business’s social media strategy
Develop and execute lead generation and management campaigns
Mentor and lead the marketing team in the creative development of digital marketing activity overseeing asset creation by focusing on the customer’s journey
Development of digital applications
Plan and coordinate inclusion of digital activation at trade and consumer events and participate as required.
Measure and report performance against campaign KPIs and ROI
Assist in managing the marketing budget to ensure expenditure does not exceed the budget.
What You Must Have
Tertiary degree in marketing, digital marketing, digital advertising or equivalent is essential
Experience developing and executing digital strategies and campaigns across a wide range of channels
Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing and measurement
Proven experience with marketing email automation tools eg Salesforce
Proven experience setting KPIs as well as monitoring and optimizing campaigns
Experience in Animal Health business or a knowledge of agriculture or animal farming systems preferred but not essential
Able to collaborate with other departments in a team setting demonstrating our company’s leadership competencies
Creative flair with excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
Able to work efficiently to meet tight deadlines
Project management skills to initiate and complete multiple projects as required
Able to analyse data and approach problem solving in a logical manner
