Napier Port is the gateway for goods flowing in and out of Central New Zealand and is at the heart of the Hawke’s Bay economy.

We’re looking for keen machine operators to join our team on a permanent basis. A minimum of a class 2 driver’s license is required.

Full training will be provided by our experienced and qualified trainers.

Successful candidates will need to be flexible to work a range of shifts in a 24 / 7 operation and have the resilience to cope with shift work which can vary between day, afternoon and midnight shifts.

They must also have a good level of fitness, be a team player and follow computer-based instructions and processes to accurately track containers or cargo.

Remuneration starts at $30 per hour. There are lots of opportunities for our team to train to operate different types of machinery and undertake different roles at Napier Port no two days are the same.
