    The Team : What we doThis Child and Family Safety Service team workswith health professionals to identify, support and refer cases where partnerabuse is occurring.

    The team also offers an advisory service to staff regardingpartner abuse and child protection concerns.You will work with health professionals and otheragencies (Women s Refuges, Stopping Violence Services, Police, Child Youth andFamily Services, Non-Government Organisations) to promote and buildrelationships between services when managing partner and child abuse cases.

    The Role : Whereyou fit inThis role involves a mix of data entry, generaladministrative duties, answering calls and welcoming patients and families.

    Coming from a reception / administration background, yourwarm and friendly approach, excellent communication skills and resilience willhelp you succeed in this role.

    You will be highly organised and be able toprioritise your busy day along with understanding the importance of privacy andconfidentiality.

    In this role, you will be responsible for :

  • Providing great service and direction to customers, staff and whānau
  • Communicate to patients as well as internal and external stakeholders
  • Work with the Medical Records department to request patient notes
  • Manage service referrals and bookings
  • Take minutes
  • Dictaphone typing
  • Data entry into the patient management system
  • Order stationary
  • All aspects of administrationYour skills will include :
  • Communication and Interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Knowledge and experience in Winscribe would be beneficial
  • Data entry skills
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities
