  • In Vitro Technologies is a medical and scientific distribution organisation specialising in the sales, marketing and support of products throughout New Zealand and Australia.

    We are currently seeking a motivated, responsible and passionate logistics professional to join us at our Mt Wellington office in the role of Warehouse Co-ordinator.

  • This role will ensure the efficient movement of goods through the warehouse; the swift, on time receipt and allocation of all inbound freight;
  • the despatching of goods via couriers and the development of warehouse layout and zoning. The job also entails Customer Service responsibilities, order entry, answering calls and responding to general customer queries.

    Primary responsibilities include :

  • Daily physical receipting of goods and storage of goods in designated locations within the warehouse
  • Dispatching of goods on a daily basis to meet courier deadlines before 4pm
  • Understand and take responsibility for quality control standards in line with all policies, procedures, legislation and regulation
  • Develop and refine store layout, stock replenishment practices, including proper location of goods and their receipt or dispatch in conjunction with warehouse plan.
  • Customer Service order entries, answering customer calls and responding to general customer queries.
  • Stock Investigations i.e. Cyclic Counting, Stock Transfers, Inventory Adjustments, creating Arrival Journals etc
  • Interacting with customers, courier companies and internal staff.
  • To be successful you will have at least three years’ experience within the distribution, warehousing or logistics field.

    Previous experience in an inwards goods role is favourable.

    Preferable candidates will have a current forklift licence, an ability to demonstrate skills in typing, and are capable in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook.

    Other preferable qualities include an ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal skills, general administration in an organisation and an ability to take ownership to ensure outcomes are met.

    A commensurate package with skills and experience is negotiable for the right person.
